Posted on Martin VVerified Unique and challenging experience Challenging and friendly experience. Breathtaking views. Our guide Sixto and translator Duban made this 4-day trek a great experience for our group of 4 people (team Mango). The food was excellent also thanks to our cook Jaider, and there were several choices to accomodate everyone’s preference.Posted on Robert CVerified Awesome Colombia experience Amazing experience! Tour guide, Antonio and translator, Giovanni were awesome and made the trip very enjoyable. The food was excellent and portions were more than enough. Props to the chef.Posted on EnzoVerified You must go What an amazing adventure! We were a small group of 5 plus our guide Enrique, translator Isidro, and chef Ismael. I loved the fact Isidro kept calling us "family" and that's how it felt. The team was very friendly, welcoming, the food was fantastic, and there was so much food! Enrique's knowledge and personal experience of the area made the tour more meaningful, and he even fixed my boots when the sole came off! And the Lost City was quite spectacular too... Thank you all for creating memories that I will cherish forever ❤️⭐❤️⭐Posted on Pieter JVerified Expotur is de beste!! All the communication with expotur before setting off was clear and efficient, and I felt confident that things would be properly organised. Everything ran like clockwork, from the moment I was picked up from my hostel on the first day, to the moment I was dropped off at the end, with my suitcase that had been stored in thr expotur office during the trek. As for the trek itself, we had a wonderful team in our guide Diego, translator Hebert and cook Pastora. We were so well looked after and kept well informed at every stage of the trek with interesting historical and cultural titbits. The team really cared about making sure we had a good time and were as confortable as possible in the extreme heat and humidity! The food was filling and tasty, and the coffee and hot chocolate helped to get us going in the morning. The scenery is stunning - it’s like stepping h back in time. A real privilege to be able to visit such a wild and unspoiled corner of the world. Thanks to the foresight and discipline of Diego (who woke us up a few mins early) we were the first group to arrive at the lost city on the day of our visit, so we had the place to ourselves for around half an hour. Really special. It is a challenging trek, mainly because of the heat and humidity (and rain in our case) but so worth it. Thanks expotur.Posted on Annelien HVerified Lost City Trek This tour is an unforgetable experience! Our guide Diego and translator Hebert were very excited to guide us through the jungle and share all stories of the lost city with us. Our cook Pastora made the best traditional meals for us during the tour. If you like nature and hiking, this is a must do in Colombia!Posted on Photon86Verified Great experience Great experience and top guidance, translation and food from Diego, Hebert and Pastora from Expotur. I think the difference between the different operators is their enthusiasm and dedication to give you at each moment the best. You get a good work out, amazing views, sleeping outdoor and lots of explanation of the history.Posted on Merav LVerified A once-in-a-lifetime experience to the Lost City. The trek was stunning, and the explanations along the way were engaging. The "Lost City" is a magical place, and the effort to reach it was well worth it.The team was very professional, flexible and adapted to the different personalities in the group. For example, I walked slowly, and the team made sure this had minimal impact on the group. There was always someone who accompanied me patiently, without making me feel like a burden.Posted on Felicia EVerified Making memories met de Ciudad Perdida hike! Fantastische ervaring! Posted on Don KVerified Best hiking experience in Colombia! I had an amazing experience hiking to Teyuna (Ciudad Perdida). The landscape is simply magical. Every step of the hike was so rewarding, behind every corner was a new fascinating view. My experience with Expottur was extraordinary. You can't ask for anything more. Our guide Cesar Jr. gave us so much information about the history of this special place, about the indigenous people who live in balance with nature in the area to this day and of yourse he was always up for a good joke. Juan Carlos did a great job as a translator and helped us with all questions we had. If you want to hike for 4 days, you need to be well fortified. Our cook Jesus F. took excellent care of this. Of all the groups in the camp, we were always the first to be fed. A thousand thanks Jesus!!! Santiago also supported us with everything and was a great help. One day I would like to return to Teyuna and hope that I can repeat the same tour with the same friends from Expoturs!Everyone who is able to run 8-10 k won't have an issue with the hike. What could be challenging for some people is the humidity.Verified by TrustindexTrustindex verified badge is the Universal Symbol of Trust.
