EXCELLENT Based on 6405 reviews Posted on Tripadvisor Jan_Tore2013Verified The lost city experience An absolutely fantastic experience – highly recommend Expotur! We just did the 4-day Lost City trek as a family, and it was one of the best things we've done together. From start to finish we were so happy with Expotur. The real standout was our guide, Omar – he was excellent. What makes the difference on this trek isn't just walking, it's the history of the area, what happened there, and the contact with the indigenous communities, and Omar's broad experience brought all of that to life. That, more than anything, is why we'd recommend Expotur over the other agencies we saw along the way. The food, made by Luz, was great, and the accommodation was better than we expected. Honestly the whole thing exceeded our expectations. A few honest tips: this is demanding. Only do it if you're reasonably fit, and be ready for extreme heat and humidity – we sweated buckets! Our two girls (12 and 14) were a bit skeptical and tired along the way, but they made it in the end, with a little help from a couple of motorbikes near the finish. Worth every bit of effort and every peso. One small thing for Expotur to improve: a bit more soap at the toilets would be great – handwashing really matters in those conditions to avoid any tummy bugs. Otherwise – a truly fantastic expedition. The whole family loved it. Thank you Omar and the Expotur team! Strongly recommended.Posted on Tripadvisor Arjan dVerified When in Colombia, do the lost city trek! Unforgettable experience, super organization. When Nelson and Ariel are your guides you will be in good hands!Posted on Tripadvisor Sabrya IVerified Best experience in our trip through Colombia! I did the lost city hike with my mom and sister, and it was the best experience in our trip through Colombia! Sixto the guide and Heberth the translator were amazing and told us so many interesting stories. Walking through the forest, having a really hard time sometimes, but mostly enjoying the beautiful surroundings was incredible. Also the lost city was very interesting to witness. The whole experience was truly unforgettable and the group we did it with felt like our family for the days. We were with 16 people in our group, but because we all walked at our own pace it didn’t feel like that much. In the evening we all played games at the base camp. I would definitely recommend this when you are in Colombia! It was our best experience so far!Posted on Tripadvisor Iris BVerified Fantastische ervaring! Posted on Tripadvisor srdebVerified Lost City trek Hey was een hele leuke ervaring! Service was top! Posted on Tripadvisor Sam MVerified Very wet but great hike !! We really enjoyed our trip to the lost city with expoture . It was a challenging but really fun hike with great guide Adriana and amazing translator Carlos ! We now know why exactly the rain forest is called that …. Boy did it rain !!! The lost city is magical !!! ☺️ The team were great and supported all levels of fitness really well ! Good food throughout although I would have preferred a buffet style but I’m being picky !!!Posted on Tripadvisor Edoardo LVerified Unforgettable experience Beautiful experience, the tour exceeded my expectations, a huge thanks to Denise, marceau, hamir and the group that all made this experience unforgettable!Posted on Tripadvisor Elen CVerified I enjoyed taking this tour Excellent tour, the attention; the food; the guide, Denise, and the translator, Marceus, all very kind and friendly. A beautiful experience!! I definitely recommend this tour.Posted on Tripadvisor Jeroen KVerified A real adventure Nice, friendly and xompetent guids.an above all a beautifull experience.
