EXCELLENT Based on 6357 reviews Posted on Tripadvisor Mascha KVerified Lost city We had a wonderful hike to the lost city. Everything was super well organised. The food was really good and the accommodations also. Coco, Pacho and Tatana took really good care of us! I highly recommend!!Posted on Tripadvisor Hidde MVerified Great experience with the best tourguides Had a great time, a real cool adventure. Tourguides Elizabeth and Aldiair where really good and felt more like friends along the way. They made sure everything was fixed and kept the good vibes alive the whole time. Thanks guys.Posted on Tripadvisor Rebekka KVerified Amazing Adventure The hike to the lost city was such an amazing adventure! Jhoan, Heberth, and Jesus were such nice guides/tranalators/guides and made sure that I enjoyed every moment of the trip. The food was very delicious (also for vegetarians), organization was smooth, and I felt very safe the whole time. Would definitely recommend choosing expotours, especially with the mentioned guides :)Posted on Tripadvisor Andres CVerified Excelentes guÃas, fui con Jorge, Denise, Isidro y Mike. Gran experiencia y un excelente equipo de guias con Jorge, Denise, Isidro y Mike junto con tu equipo.Posted on Tripadvisor JenndeuVerified Magical experience It was an absolutely fantastic hike! It wouldn't have been half as great without Eucario and Carlos, the best guides ever! We went as a couple, both vegan, and had no problems getting vegan food (definitely let them know beforehand), and they even used substitutes instead of just omitting ingredients! Do it!Posted on Tripadvisor Travel32049491376Verified Great Tour to the Ciudad Perdida - Also vegan friendly Very cool experience! We did the 4 day tour with a group of 8 tourists, and Guide Macario, Translator Carlos, and Cook Ismael were great. Organization was nice, and the food was good. I am vegan and that was not an issue, they even had soy chunks as meat replacement for most meals. Price sounds a little hefty, but that is regulated and fair for the experience, it also benefits the indigenous people in the region.Posted on Tripadvisor Rosana LVerified Experiencia 100% recomendable Experiencia completamente recomendada para hacer en solitario o en compañÃa, ha sido una delicia pasar cuatro dÃas en un entorno natural tan rico y bonito.Posted on Tripadvisor Cade DVerified Wonderful Trek Through the Jungle to Ciudad Perdida --- and a super impressive crew. Wow! What a wonderful experience! A friend of mine and I did the 4-day Lost City Trek. I couldn't recommend this trip more highly. The history of the discovery, the resulting fallout, the re-consumption of of Ciudad Perdida by nature, and then the subsequent re-discovery was all very fascinating! Cesar was a fantastic guide. I feel really lucky we got to have him leading us through the jungle, enriching our experience with his wisdom and steady hand. I also need to specifically mention Pilar, who is an absolute gem of a human and an endlessly talented translator. To say she's a translator is almost an absurdity of reduction. Pili is a former attorney, and one of the most buoyant and joyful people I've ever met. Even in the days and weeks after the trek, her story, her presence, and her indomitable joy is something that I still think about. I just couldn't say more positive things about a person. And 'Pollo' threw down in the kitchen --- making long treks, way earlier than everyone else, so that we could enjoy world-class cuisine in the jungle. He is the unsung hero of the tale, and I'm grateful for him! We were a group of about 8-9 strangers, but became fast friends --- which is a real bonus of doing a trip like this. You might actually just meet people you'd want to bump into again, and this group was no exception. Whether you're in it for the social aspect, the history, the aesthetics of the jungle, or some other reason --- I've every confidence that if the stars align and you get to hike alongside Pili, Cesar (and Pollo on rare occasion that he's not hustling ahead to make sure you're properly fed), that you'll have an experience as marvelous as the one we all shared. Honorable mentions: - booking was super easy - pick up and drop off were a breeze - everything really costs the same -- so one need not labor too much on that kind of comparative analysis. Posted on Tripadvisor Or TVerified Great experience Great experience, great stuff very professional and helpful
