It is located in the <strong>Caldas<\/strong>, <strong>Risaralda<\/strong>, <strong>Quind\u00edo<\/strong> and <strong>Tolima<\/strong> provinces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In its beginnings it was an area recognized cause of the production of rubber, but in the early 20th century it dedicated itself to the <strong>sowing and production of coffee<\/strong>, which has become its flagship product internationally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The coffee area has turned into an important cultural and landscape site that <strong>Unesco<\/strong> declared a <strong>World Heritage Site<\/strong> in 2011 and called it <strong>Coffee Cultural Landscape<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is also one of <strong>the most visited destinations in Colombia<\/strong> by locals and foreigners, especially by lovers of that delicious, aromatic and addictive drink, coffee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Sites that you can not miss in the Coffee Area<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The region has created several parks that are well known in <strong>Colombia<\/strong> for collecting the whole tradition of the coffee farmer and teaching about their fauna, flora and typical customs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The Coffee national Park<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/expotur-eco.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/parque-nacional-del-cafe.-eje-cafetero.jpg\" alt=\"coffee area, parque del cafe\" class=\"wp-image-5879\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><em>Photo taken from www.eltiempo.com<\/em> <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>It is located in the municipality of Montenegro, in Quind\u00edo. In this place there is also the <strong>Museum of Coffee Culture<\/strong>, where it is very fun to go and learn about the coffee bean process, its production, learn about the colonial era; In addition, visitors have the opportunity to appreciate different folkloric representations, panoramic views from the cable car and a variety of thematic attractions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The entrance to the park ranges between $ 42,000 and $ 52,000 pesos. It is a zoo style, but the\ndifference is that animals are not caged, but in their environment, sharing\nspaces with other species and with visitors; considering that they are mostly\nfarm animals. Visitors enjoy shows with these animals, dances and typical\nsamples typical of the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The value of the passport to enter is $ 35,000 pesos and includes admission to 7 thematic modules, a \u201cpeasant dawn\u201d show and an exhibition of the animals of <strong>PANACA<\/strong>.
