The towns close to the <strong>Totumo Volcano<\/strong> are: the <strong>Loma de Arena<\/strong>, <strong>Pueblo Nuevo<\/strong> and <strong>Galerazamba<\/strong> (which is currently also very famous for its p<strong>ink sea<\/strong> phenomenon). Some visitors report having changes in the appearance of their skin, others in their muscles and joints, besides being a very fun activity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To enter the <strong>Mud Volcano of Colombia<\/strong> you must climb some stairs. The maximum time to stay in the mud is a maximum of 10 minutes (no more time is advisable due to the temperature).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Am I going to sink into the Totumo Volcano?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Do not worry! You are not going to sink, its minerals do not allow it no matter how heavy you are, it is something similar to what happens to those who bathe in the <strong>Dead Sea<\/strong> (they simply float).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The key to the mud bath is that when you get out of it, let it dry on your body to enjoy its properties and then you wash yourself in the freshwater swamp that is nearby.
