The cathedral made of salt was built in the depths of the mines located in the department of Cundinamarca<\/strong>; inside it stores a wide artistic collection, mainly of sculptures made of salt and marble.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All the pieces have a Catholic religious meaning, an aspect that makes it striking for many tourists. Many people visit the Salt Cathedral of Zipaquir\u00e1<\/strong> in thanksgiving, or when they want to make a special request to God. Its underground church is the work that most attracts the attention of the entire and elaborated cultural complex. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

To go to the Zipaquir\u00e1 Salt Cathedral<\/strong>, first you must be in Bogot\u00e1<\/strong>, where you will take a bus on the North doorway of Transmilenio towards the municipality of Zipaquir\u00e1<\/strong>, the ticket costs $ 5,400 pesos and it will take between 50 minutes and 1 hour of travel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When you arrive at the Zipaquir\u00e1 terminal<\/strong>, you will see signs and signs that indicate where to walk to the salt cathedral.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
