Getting to Palomino from Santa Marta<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If you leave from Santa Marta (which is the easiest and cheapest option), you must go to the famous Public Market of this city, there you will identify the bus stops (specifically those that are white with green and blue, because they are the ones that travel to the Park Tayrona<\/strong>, which is on the same track) <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ticket to Palomino from Santa Marta<\/strong> has a cost of $ 9,000 pesos per person.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This route includes Santa Marta<\/strong>, Parque Tayrona<\/strong>, Buritaca<\/strong>, Perico Aguao<\/strong> and finally your destination: Palomino<\/strong>, which you will reach approximately 1 hour and a half after starting the route. The bus stops at the Palomino<\/strong> gas station, from there, you just have to walk a little in the direction of the beautiful and crystalline beach. Don’t worry, it will be easy to know that you are in the right place because there are many signs indicating the way and many vendors offering services of tents, restaurants and hostels. Some tourists prefer to pay the mototaxi service from where the bus drop them off, to the beach, so not need to walk, the cost is $ 3,000 pesos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n

Reach Palomino from Barranquilla, Cartagena or\nLa Guajira<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

If you are in another city like Barranquilla<\/strong>, Cartagena<\/strong> or La Guajira<\/strong>, you can also take buses to Palomino. However, the rate will be different. To get to Palomino<\/strong> from these destinations you must pay between $ 35,000 and $ 38,000 pesos. These buses also drop you off at Palomino gas station, which is the central point of all the transporters to this place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. How close do you want sunrise from the sea<\/strong>. Keep in mind that the closest hostels to the beach are the most expensive, precisely because of the beautiful sunrises that you can see and the delicious sound of the waves hitting the seashore. These hostels can charge between $ 50,000 and $ 80,000 pesos a night with breakfast included.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. The atmosphere or the vibes of the place<\/strong>. There are hostels with very relaxed and comfortable environments, even with hammocks. These hostels charge around $ 20,000 pesos per night; they are places designed for backpackers, cheaper and with shared rooms.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    On the other hand, if what you want is a little more luxuries and privacy, you can choose 5-star hostels with air-conditioned rooms, cable TV, \u00e0 la carte breakfast, Wi-Fi service, super comfortable beds, worth $ 90,000 up to $ 150,000 pesos night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Palomino you can find from vegetarian restaurants, artisanal food,\nfusion, Italian, Spanish, Mexican, and Colombian and without a doubt, sea food\nthat is the favorite of visitors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The variety of\ndishes and prices is infinite, in this spectacular place you will find from\nempanadas or fried egg arepas for 2,000 pesos to seafood rice dishes, prawns,\nlobsters, worth 80,000 to 100,000 pesos, depending on the size of the lobster\nor Fish offered to you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Many tourists choose this destination because of the tranquility of its beaches. Many take the time to read, others to sleep and rest, which is what they most want to do in their vacation time. Others take the opportunity to snorkel<\/strong> or just to go tan and eat something delicious with their family. The romantic plan is one of the most chosen, its beaches are aphrodisiac for newlyweds who go to their honeymoon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Another plan that has become famous in Palomino is to make Tubing<\/strong>, is to get on a tire from the highest part of the river and descend according to its current. The cost ranges from 15,000 to 20,000 pesos; it has no time limit, since it depends on the strength of the river’s current to complete your journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
